But if it's fluoridated water that will cause even more bone problems.

One of the things to remember is that the much of the body's structure and

mechanisms are governed by water and salt. If we do not have enough salt

(as in healthy salt like sea salt) our bones begin to soften and we lose the

minerals from the bone. The reason why, I am quoting below from an awesome

book, " Your Body's Many Cries for Water " by Dr. F. Batmaghelidj.

" Salt is a most essential ingredient of the body. In their order of

importance, oxygen water, salt, and potassium rank as the primary elements

for the survival of the human body. ...about 27% of the salt content in the

body is stored in the bones in the form of crystals. It is said that salt

crystals are naturally used to make bones hard...thus salt deficiency in the

body could be responsible for the development of osteoporosis. Salt will be

taken out of the bones to maintain normal levels in the blood. Low salt

intake will contribute to a build up of acidity in some cells. High acidity

in the cell can damage the DNA structure of and be the initiating mechanism

for cancer formation in some cells. Experiments have shown that quite a

number of cancer patients show low salt in their body. "

He further recommends a 1/4 tsp of sea salt per liter of water consumed. He

recommends continuous hydration with water throughout the day to keep the

body from having to overcompensate.

Now I don't know your child's complete health situation. I don't know who

is managing it. Is the child able to take in water...are they showing any

signs of kidney issues? If they are healthy in that respect then it might

be wise to consider a pure unprocessed sea salt to be added to their diet

and regular intake of water....water is one of the keys to reducing the acid

in their bodies ...also becoming familiar with acid forming foods versus

alkaline foods is good to be aware of... Many health professionals recommend

trying to eat 80% alkaline versus 20% acidic to be at your most healthiest

state...that's kind of hard to do in the real world..but you can try leaning

the child's diet that direction...

I hope that may help you a bit in understanding the physiology of what may

be happening... Blessings!
