Guest guest
well done you, we have just finished our first round too, and yeast has risen its ugly head here too!! We used enhansa, knocked it dead in its tracks for us, available from mandimart, you start with 1 capsule in the morning and slowly increase either week by week or tolerance/die off. GSE start with 1 drop once a day, and progress slowly, some children dont need gse all the time and only when they chelate, it can cause bacterial issues so up your probiotics - we use sach bouli and cp-1 plus yogurt we make ourselves. Take inbetween meals, some say its very good if given with no-phenol enzymes, worked in our house, and take away from probiotics, so eventually build up to dosing 2 - 3x a day, before b/fast, lunch, tea kinda thing. Biotin, now I don't know much about biotin, we will be using it for the first time too, we are going to start on 1 capsule a day and take it from there, it may be beneficial depending on how sensitive your child is to introduce at smaller quantities say 1/4 of a capsule to begin with. Candex is another good one, enzymes that attack yeast weakening the wall allowing the other anti-fungals to get in, goldenseal is really effective in our house too, but I don't know how you feel about using herbs. I dont use it primarily because my hungry kids like to have supper so trying to get a dose in is pretty hard, but lots of people say very good things about it. milk thistle, my 12 yr old takes 2 capsules a day, my 7 year old 1/2 cap twice a day, both with meals. ooo is great if your child can swallow capsules, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong but i'm not sure that there is yet a good tasting ooo out there!! olive leaf extract has some good anti fungal properties, we use that too as well gosh I hope that helps, yeast is the main reason we are chelating, we have done everything possible over the last 5 years to get rid to no avail, from what I hear it takes on average a year of chelation to shift the yeast for good, we can't wait!! hth emma > > Hello All > > We finally completed 1st round of chelation with 6mg dmsa. > My son did great on the whole except for about 2 hrs late afternoon on all 3 days he was playing by himself and yeasty giggles and jumping etc came up.He also was a little irritable > > I understand i need better yeast protocol........ > i read posts for biotin and gse...... > Can someone help me with how much and how often > Also milk thistle how much and how often > is it a good idea to start oil of oregano and avoid bacterial growth > > Thanks all > Laila >
Guest guest
Milk thistle around 250mg per day, you can spread it out. GSE, start out with 125mg per day and work up Biotin, start with 5mg per day and work up Don't forget the probiotics, later in the day at least 2 hours away from the GSE. Here is the suff we use: http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Grapefruit-Seed-Extract http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Biotin-5-000-mcg-120-Capsules http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Probiotic-10-20 TJ ________________________________ From: lailamalik2n1 <lailamalik2n1@...> Sent: Mon, September 20, 2010 9:21:23 AM Subject: [ ] completed 1st round  Hello All We finally completed 1st round of chelation with 6mg dmsa.
