Guest guest
I've seen homeschooled children in my practice for almost 30 years, both in South Florida and Virginia. I know there's one or more home school groups, which are beneficial both for the parents for support and for the children for socialization. I find the children very well adjusted and usually extremely competant in their studies (plus you can teach real material rather than have your children spoon-fed politically correct information from the teacher's unions). Kids are usually healthier also as a benefit. I know one of the organizations is PATH, don't know about the others. Hope this helps. (Another plus is that you don't have to have the routine forms and vaccines that are mandated for schools.) Guest guest
check out connectionsacademy.com....I know the state of Florida supports this and is considered to be free public education - they even provide you with a computer if you need it. > > > Hi All, we are looking to start home schooling our child in Miami-Dade, Flo. can any one help us to understand pros and cons of doing so? thank you so much!Fernanda > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
