I recently started using GABA with my son, in hopes it might help with language

abilities. I give him 50 mg three times a day so far. It has helped to calm

and focus him somewhat and there has been a little increase in language. I tried

searching the archives to figure out dosing. I think Andy seems to indicate

that 200 mg a day is a good dose for a child. Has anyone exceeded this dose

with their child? My son is 4, soon to be 5 years old. Has anyone else seen

any positives as regards language when supplementing GABA?

Thanks. Irene

Irene,

This is a little OT.  I just wanted to say that something that's really, really

helped my son's language is Lifewave Glutathione patches.  They're not

transdermal, but help the body produce it's own Glutathione.  They have a

website and sell through distributors.  I'm not one, just a happy customer.

Kim
