Hi,

We are in GA. The TB test did not fall under religious exemptions although other

required shots for school exemption. This was at a private institute so it could

ne a facility by facility thing.

tb is typically a test for employment purposes, correct?

If this is, for some reason, required by a school district, it should fall under

the same exemption status as vaccines. That is what I see when I Googled it.

It probably varies state by state and employer by employer. For example, an

article I saw from Idaho claimed that every person who invoked 'religious

exemption' for Tb was granted exemption. A letter had been written to the

supervisor or whomever was in charge of the testing policy which spelled out in

detail each reason why it violated their strongly held religious convictions.

In the District of Columbia, apparently you cannot use religious exemption for

Tb testing at town University.

Here is a sample letter:

So, if this testing is for your minor child, and your state allows religious

exemptions, you should be OK.

If you want more info on your state, maybe you can search within vaclib.org to

find some.
