crystalized skin peel.

==>Hi Frito. I suggest you take baking soda baths instead of vinegar

too. Or mix baking soda 50/50 with Epsom Salts. The peeling is caused

by new skin being formed underneath, so the layer on top is sloughing

off.

....The best thing to alleviate itching is baking soda.

....I suggest you take baking soda baths instead of vinegar

....too. Or mix baking soda 50/50 with Epsom Salts.

==>Hi Bee,

What exactly is the baking soda doing? I know it can disinfect and deodorize,

is it changing the ph?

My son has a strep rash on his bottom right now and it is itching him. The Dr

has recommended antibiotics for a week, but I am trying to figure out what I can

do instead. Any suggestions???

> My son has a strep rash on his bottom right now and it is itching

to figure out what I can do instead. Any suggestions???

==>It is obvious your son's immune system is very depressed, so it is

most important that he obtain the proper nutrients according to the

principles on this program (and eliminate toxins) so his body can

heal, and so he doesn't get it again. There are many natural

treatments that can be used instead of antibiotic drugs, but again

nutrients are more important. Treatments, and even antibiotics won't

help unless his immune system is build up.

Antibiotics will cause candida overgrowth, if he doesn't already have

it, and they suppress the disease/symptoms which will come out later

on as more severe illnesses.

One of the best treatments is to mix up 1/3rd of each of these:

coconut oil, cod liver oil and oil of oregano and apply it directly

to the areas affected. Baking soda can be patted onto the oil, or

put on when it is particularly itchy. He should also take baking

soda baths to soothe the itching.

Also see these articles for other suggestions:

Is it all on one side of his body? If not, it probably isn't Shingles. If

there's any chance it is Shingles, get help immediately. He would need to begin

an antiviral within 72 hours of onset for best results.

My father has had CLL for the past 2 1/2 years. He's currently

undergoing the chemo drug " Treanda. " We've found this rash on his arm

and chest. I read somewhere that it may be shingles.... a result of

having a lower immune system. Has anyone experienced this?

I'm on Treanda now, too and my oncologist prescribed Valtrex specifically to deal with the possibility of shingles. Definitely do see the doctor about it. Nothing to mess around with as Nell said. RashMy father has had CLL for the past 2 1/2 years. He's currently

Just before I was diagnosed, i did get an itchy rash on my back. No

matter what name you want to call it, a rash along with a depressed

immune system means you should definitely get to the MD asap. It's

not worth messing around, and you can find relief much faster!

Best of luck!

Thank you all for the feedback. It's not all over his body...just on

his arm and his chest. It seems to flare up at night. He's been

taking Benadryl at night but it seems from all your posts that I

shoudl take him to the doc tomorrow to make sure everything is ok.

I have had " Treanda " (Bendamustine) as well---also " rashes " of small

pimples on my inner arm and chest area;

they were not worrisome, and would come and go....I haven't had these

for a long time now.

But check it out for shingles, and always have it looked at by a

dermotologist/oncologist.

Might try a charcoal poultice. I had good results with this for a very

*** Hi :

I have had rashes occur throughout my time on this diet. Bee has recommended

using

Oregano Oil for this and it's helped me a lot. Here's the link on Oregano oil:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/anti6.php

It's very strong, so you just add a few drops to a carrier oil like coconut oil

or olive oil and

then then spread this on the rash. If you have any broken skin, you will want

to avoid that

area as the Oregano will " burn " there.

Hope this helps.

+++Hi . I don't believe your rash was caused by an insect bite,

since that would resolve sooner than this. All skin eruptions and

rashes are caused by toxins coming out through the skin. It appears

your body favors releasing toxins in that specific area.

> I've been soaking that leg daily in epsom salt/baking soda water. I

originally used Aveeno on it for the itching, but am now using homemade

calendua oil (olive oil). Are there other things I can do to speed up

the detoxification and healing of that rash?

+++It will take time for your body to detoxify, which is the same as

die-off or healing symptoms, which cannot be rushed. However there are

some treatments that can sooth the area in the meantime - I think the

treatments in this article will help you most:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu_2_5_3.php

+++Also ensure you are doing such things as dry skin brushing, coffee

enemas, and that you are having the Electrolyte Drink, which assist

detoxification.

The best, Bee

Geez, I've found I have another question too. I get this very small rash

on my face from the candida. Also a small circle on my nose that looks

identical to a ringworm circle. I've been treating both with antifungal

creme but was wondering if there is something else I should be doing to get

rid of it. The rash itches but the circle doesn't.

Thanks so much.

Welcome to our group Chris! You will learn that Bee has answered most of our

questions

already on her website and it has a wonderful search engine. So, for your

question about

" rashes " I went to her site and typed " rash " in the search box. Here is one of

the many

links I came up with:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/skin5.php

I have good results using the oregano oil-coconut oil combination on my rashes.

Don't

use it on broken skin or it will sting.

Hope that helps,

+++Hi Chris. All rashes and other kinds of skin eruptions are toxins

coming out through the skin, so of course healing them means the diet

and supplements which help your body heal and detoxify itself.

In the meantime you can try to soothe the symptoms somewhat by

applying unrefined coconut oil mixed with oil of oregano like Marissa

recommended, or see other treatments you can try in this article

about itching:

+++Hi Treva. Your husband may be right, that your body is retracing

poison ivy since you used toxic drugs to treat it. Also any skin

eruptions of any kind are because toxins are coming out through the

skin.

Here's an article on itching which may help you:

Hi Geri,

What I have gotten as a rash has been........ a rash on my chest area that was

like pimples - but they left a scar. A round small scar. I went to a specalist

back then that had no idea what my rash was - go figure - this was befor I was

diagnoised and have had lyme for over 10 years at the time. Now while on

antibiotics this rash has moved to my legs and arms and just resently has moved

to my neck. It pops out of no where and looks sort of like a pimple with clear

head - and hurts and itches very bad - when this is itched the rash kind of

comes off and then a scab apears - but really read circle scab - and if itched

again it will come off in a circle and then you have a raw round hole in your

skin. These have all made a white circle kind of scar on my skin or just stays

a red circle. Just recently I have been getting more and more coming out - I

had to wear short sleves now that the warmer weather is settin in. I am going

to go over it again with my LLMD in a few weeks to ask for sure what this is - I

have heard before that when something in lyme dies in you it comes out thru the

skin - not sure if this is true. My daughters have also had weird

rashes........ in the hair very dry red skin - rash on face like fifths disease

- also sometimes the rash on the upper outer arms with small red bumps.........

This is what my family has gotten and all our regular and special doctors in the

past have had no idea what it is or just tell us that the under layers of our

skin is very dry and it comes out like this - sure.

Hello Diane,

She had all the systems of Limes, one test came back neg so her doc wont test

any more for it.

Her joints hurt her so bad and now she can hard walk do to weakness in her

legs. She is very tired..the more active she is or in the sun the more trouble

she has.She gets chills and cant get warm, then hot. One time she got tingling

feeling through out her whole body..waking from a nap. She felt wonderful after

that only to have her rash come back with a vengeance and landed in

bed......nearly helpless

When the redness goes away it leave a scar that is kind of brownish and about

as big as dime.

Sandy is at a caner sp..today....Have been praying each day everyday......

Thank you for getting back to me.

If you have my lyme resource CD, read the folder called testing. There is

allot of information there. Basically a negative for Lyme means nothing. A

positive though is always true.

Get another doctor and get some different tests done. Find an LLMD if you

can. It sure sounds to me like she has Chronic Lyme and you can help her or

you can let her continue to get much worse. Its your choice!

For info on how to get my free lyme resource cd, read the files section of

this group's website.

Diane, I think it was you who described the rash as a pimple with a clear head.

Itches alot. Red circle around it.....

Anyway, I have a dx of babesia from a LLMD. I see the infectious disease doctor

at the end of June. I am so glad you described this rash because it sounds

exactly what I had below the base of my spine. I only had one patch of it and

as soon as it itched I looked in the mirror and saw it looked a tiny bit like a

blister but really a pimple with a clear head described it better. It did scab

over and I think it took 2 weeks to go away completely.

I'm glad someone posted this subject because I was just chalking it up to

another strange symptom that I didn't understand and almost forgot all about

because it hasn't recurred. That was 2 months ago I had the rash.
