Interesting. Did you have a hair test prior to iodine supplementing?

Unfortunately no.

When I first heard about iodine I started taking it immediately. I

had more confidence in the iodine than in the tests, I guess.

Impatience is an old fault of mine.

No fault. I wish I could go back and check things from " before " but I was

either rushed into things or I rushed into them. We live and learn.

Hello Everyone,

I have uploaded two files:

SixofusDaughter

&

SixofusSon

I really need help to understand what is going on with my children. If anyone

can help, please help me.

Any questions, just ask. My son has autism, and my daughter was just diagnosed

ADD.

Thanks,

Cheleta

Of course. Please scan them and post the scans or the PDFs you've

received in the files sections

/files/HairTests/

and let us know what the files are called.

Both children are currently taking Zinc nightly.

In addition, aluminum, antimony, arsenic are problems, as is possibly

lead and cadmium. Other metals are likely elevated only because of

mineral transport disruption. How do you fix the transport of minerals?

What's your living situation at the moment? We live in an apartment.

Arsenic is frequently

present in well water in agricultural areas. None of my children are big water

drinkers. But, we do live near an agricultural area. Antimony is often caused by

fire retardants (mattresses, bedding, clothing). How would I know about the

clothing or mattresses we have used.  Is it possible it came from vaccines? The

full list of

possible sources of exposure is in Andy Cutler's book Hair Test

Interpretation. http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html

This interpretation is based on _pre-chelation_ results. What have you

done in terms of chelation, if any?

Son-Age 3 (Autism)

Diagnosed with autism in June 2009

Currently taking:

Spectrum complete multivitamin

Nordic Natural Cod Liver Oil

IgG 2000

Therbiotic (Klaire Labs)

B12 shots every 3 days

Pro EPA

Zinc

DMG Folinic Acid

Fluconazole

Iron

Zinc

Iron

List of Therapies

Both of these tests meet _several_ of the counting rules. Mineral

transport is pretty severely disturbed, indicating mercury as a problem.

Daughter-Age 9 (ADD)

Spectrum complete multivitamin

Nordic Natural Cod Liver Oil

Therbiotic (Klaire Labs)

Pro EPA

Zinc

DMG Folinic Acid

Iron

hbot (Mon-Thurs)

Do you think I am missing something here?

About me:

I am about to have a hair test done soon. I am starting to think that I passed

some things to the kids that made them develop these issues with vaccines. I was

told that I was a little anemic while pregnant in 2005. I always crave lots of

sweet foods. I dont eat any fruits but a lot of carbs. My memory is terrible.

And, I have a lot of weird dreams and tend to think in a negative way a lot. I

am constipated 80% of the week. Recently my arms and back developed lots of

bumps that now look like chicken pox (no idea where this came from). I feel

sluggish alot. I have been under alot of stress since June. But, all of my

pregnancies were normal. My daughters behavior started changing a little at age

4 during which she developed asthma and was on singulair for 3 years. Now she is

like a space cadet but very happy go lucky socially. Has meltdowns every night

for homework. My son regressed after his MMR, and my daughter also had MMR at

age 4. To me, both test are

similiar. What do you think? What if I have things going on in my body that I

have not treated? From what I have told you, what do you reccomend for my

children or me? Thank you so much, and if you have any questions please ask!!

I have now saved it in the appropriate Hait Test section, undr Liam Gassler Hair

Test. He is 60 lbs and we will be starting with 12.5mg of DMSA. I have opened up

the 50mg caps & divided them x4. I hope this is correct.

thoughts as we get ready to chelate. I saved it in files under " Liam Gassler

Hair Test. " My apologies, as I saw the temporary hair test file after I saved

it. Thanks for your help!! Jill

There is definitely a high probability of deranged mineral transport and thus

mercury. Counting rule #4 is met and two others are short by one.

DMSA will help with the lead.

The adrenals seem to be extremely compromised, producing almost no adrenaline or

cortisol. Supporting the adrenals during chelation will make him much more

comfortable.

The extremely low K/Ca ratio could simply be reflecting the high copper levels,

or might indicate low thyroid

The high copper would indicate only using ALA every other week.

High hair calcium and magnesium points to a problem with the glucose metabolism.

He might benefit from Lithium orotate,

What are his symptoms and supplements?

Wonderful info, . Thank you! Our son is 9 and 60lbs. He is AD/HD,

salicylate sensitive and has many food sensitivities. He is extremely

rigid/inflexible/angry/irritable/hyper/depressed/diarrhea and nervous. He has

learning disorders and PDD-Nos. I have him almost off Adderall (been weaning him

off) now down to 1/2 capsule 1x day. He takes Gaba, Theanine, Magnesium,Biotin,

Vit K,No Fenol,VSL#3, MB12 shots every other day & takes Epsom salt baths 3+

times a week. I just bought milk thistle, but waiting for answer from DAN on

dosage for him. I rotate a few other supplements in & out, but he is very

sensitive and reacts negatively to many things. He is very small and thin and

bruises badly. He has been on the Feingold Diet for 4 years. What do you

recommend (dose etc.) for adrenal support? Tried Respen-A, but he could not

tolerate it. I also use GSE as needed for yeast. Thanks for all your help!

I don't see this hair test meeting any counting rules.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't try a trial of chelation if your child has Autism.
