Could be that the dose is too high. Could also be Trimethylaminuria. Can be a

genetic disorder, or caused by too much proteins proteins in the diet, or an

increase in bacteria that produce trimethylamine. I used to work with a lady

that had this. Poor women smelled like fish all the time and unfortunately for

her it was a genetic mutation that caused it.

Is he taking carnitine? Fishy-smelling urine is a symptom of too much carnitine,

which my DD got from taking small doses of it. It smelt pretty strong at the

time too.

Can be either too much, or too little, carnitine. How much carnitine are you

giving? Try modifying the dose.
