I do want to mention that as you age, you tend to grow less hair as well (on legs and underarms). That said, some medications can cause hairloss. Not sure why someone would care if underarm disappeared (I wish mine would...LOL)? > > Anyone know why this would happen? Guest guest Posted May 20, 2010 Report Share Posted May 20, 2010 My arm hair decreased markedly after i hit 40. I started taking DHEA and topical progesterone and the hair seemed to regrow. I've stopped taking both and I think the hair has thinned out again. Who knows? I might have thyroid issues that I don't know about, too. Pam > > > > > > Anyone know why this would happen?
