Guest guest
Yes, a woman.. Its falling out, like I have patches of no hair and where there is hair it takes little to no effort to pull out what is there.. I am not nearly as concerned as if it was hair on my head.. as its just on my arms (not underarms).. the rest of my hair seems Staying put (relatively..) I am postpartum so I am losing a bit more than normal on my head too.. but I always get hairloss Postpartum, just never on my arms.. its really weird. I know my iron is low, but I don't know if low iron causes hair loss on the arms. I have heard about eyebrow hair and thyroid though. Thanks! I do want to mention that as you age, you tend to grow less hair as well (on legs and underarms). That said, some medications can cause hairloss. Not sure why someone would care if underarm disappeared (I wish mine would...LOL)? > > Anyone know why this would happen? Guest guest
Hair loss is common postpartum, haven't heard of it on the arms though (I'm a pediatrician so have less experience in this area). I suspect it's both a mineral and a (female) hormonal issue. Both of these can be related to thyroid also. On Thu, May 20, 2010 at 9:16 PM, and Teraza Real <jtreal@...>wrote: > > > Yes, a woman..
