Adding DMSA after 7 rounds with ALA only

My son is responding very well to chelation. We have done 7 rounds so far using

ALA only. Now that I have gotten this far, I am considering adding the DMSA.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't, having done 7 rounds so far with ALA only?

The results we have seen so far have given me the courage to move ahead at least

with my son.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Thanks in advance

If you know your son has lead issues, you can add DMSA. I suggest you start

low, like 5mg, to avoid reducing neutrophils too much. Andy has said even this

dose is effective in getting the lead. I noticed my sons don't do well on

higher doses of DMSA; it is a bit harder on the liver but in our house the main

problem is the neutrophil effect which can allow yeast to flare. So consider

upping your yeast fighters if you see some symptoms.

Glad to hear it's going well!

Andy says DMSA with ALA can help pull ~ 20-30% more mercury than ALA alone.
