off topic dental question root canals and stainless steel crowns

Help! Anyone have any advice or share their experience with this issue. dentist

is recommending that they do baby root canals on my sons two molars and then put

stainless steel crowns on them. My lyme doc told me no root canals and I think I

read metal in mouth is not good but dont know what the alternative would be.

Trying to find a holistic dentist but non in our area.... I am freaking out.

if anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate the time and info
