Guest guest
http://onibasu.com/archives/am/44588.html Here is a post from 2002 from Andy re: boosting neutrophils > > We have been chelating my son for just shy of 100 rounds per the AC protocol. We just did some lab work on him - and his neutrophils are very low - so we have to use ala only for a bit. Been doing reading in the archives as to how to raise neutrophils - have ordered a few supps to this end. One question though - my son has hsv - and we have been using fairly high doses of lysine for a year or more. It has been an effective anti viral - however it might have been contributing to the neutrophils problem from my reading - as it may have depleted arginine which helps the body fight infection. I have stopped the lysine for the short term to help raise neutrophils. > > My question is - do I need to supplement with arginine now? I just don't want to cause the herpes virus to go nuts either. Or will using things like Neutrophil Plus alone do the trick along with ala only rounds for a while? My son has very high lead so we have to go back to dmsa at least once a month at some point. > > Thanks. > > Irene >
Guest guest
You've done 100 rounds of chelation with DMSA and he still has high lead? How high was it to start? > > We have been chelating my son for just shy of 100 rounds per the AC protocol. At my house, once the lysine was no longer required, it caused foot problems [tingling, numbness]. At that point, I gave two doses of arginine and then I was finished. If I tried to remove the lysine before that point, the herpes viruses increased again. If you still have herpes issues, I would keep the lysine and maybe add some arginine if you are concerned about arginine levels. I don't know about neutrophils. Guest guest
> hello ladys just a Q how you were becoming suspisios about herpes My son had a large wart on his hand, and herpes virus can cause warts. So that is how I started with suspecting herpes and using lysine. Dana
