Guest guest
http://www.iherb.com/Mega-Food-DailyFoods-Blood-Builder-90-Tablets/3995?at=0 I ordered this as my iron is really low and I am pregnant and thought it may be the best to try as its food based (I have been doing vitamin C and eating out of cast iron the entire pregnancy but my iron keeps dropping). I know there is some controversy in the iron supplement arena but I don't think its probably good that I go into birth/postpartum as anemic as I am getting.. unless I am wrong. The MAIN CONCERN is that although it doesn't say on the site, the actual bottle says contains naturally occurring glutathione and lipoic acid.. and that's the problem.. is naturally occurring lipoic acid in the Fe supplement dangerous and should I find something else? Here are my labs Iron 8 (12-31) TIBC 47 (40-77) Transferrin saturation 0.17 (0.2-0.55) ferritin 24 (12-200)
