The recommended starting dose is 1/8 mg, which would be about 5 mg every 4

hours, day and night.

Is that per pound of body weight? I read that somewhere. Just double checking.

1/8 mg/lb and the previous poster did the math for you...which works out to

about 5 mg (total) every 4 hrs.
