Guest guest
quantities in the GRAMS is needed for acute toxicity. I'm guessing it is something else, or if it is related to the higher dose of selenium it will be short lasting. You know he tolerates it because he gets it regularly. I would not worry. Guest guest
That dose is included in the daily serving size for many multivitamins. Also the Methylselenocysteine capsules from VRP that I used to give to my son are 200mcg and he is almost 40lb. Guest guest
Thanks Pam & Mimoza for your replies. He had a sore tummy for a couple of hours and then fell asleep. What a relief. What a stupid mistake, thankfully no harm done. > > quantities in the GRAMS is needed for acute toxicity. Too-high doses of minerals caused major headache here, so my guess is the dose was too high. I would skip giving it for a few days, then resume at the dose you were giving previously, see if that works. Dana
