Yes it does! Thank you! I first thought about this because I've been

around horses all my life. One would RARELY clamp and cut the cord on a

foal. A foal receives 90% of its blood volume AFTER birth. If the cord is

prematurely severed, the foal will die. I had this happen one year, and I

didn't even realize it had happened until it was already too late.

Heartbreaking.

This got me to thinking about how quickly the clamp and cut after human

births, and if the cord is still pulsating, it doesn't seem to be a prudent

thing to do. A pulsating cord is a " live " cord, and it would seem there is

still some vital exchange gong on that needs to occur. Sometimes we just do

not give Mother Nature enough credit.
