Guest guest
, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am a moderator from the adult chelation groups, and only pop in here occassionally, but happened to catch your post. We have had new people recently asking why we don't recommend cilantro and chlorella, so I hope you don't mind, but I gave a link to your post and shared it with the adult groups. This is adult-metal-chelation and frequent-dose-chelation, and FDC is exclusively for people using Andy's protocol, but the question still comes up. Again, thanks.---Jackie > > This is a report of my negative experience with Cilantro. > > I had been chelating with DMSA-ALA + Pectasol for about 3 months and was making very slow improvements in my tinnitus, brain fog, anxiety, chronic fatigue, and " tightness " that characterized my symptoms of mercury poisoning from dental amalgams and possibly vaccines as a child. I became extremely impatient with the slow results and decided to take 2-10 drops of liquid Cilantro extract every 6 hours while still actively chelating with DMSA-ALA. I also took some Chlorella with the Cilantro as Dr. Klinghardt's protocol suggests. For the first day and a half, I actually felt very good, but after two days my condition worsened so bad that I was not able to get off the couch for the rest of the weekend. All symptoms showed immediate regression, erasing months of gains from the DMSA-ALA therapy. Increased tinnitus, debilitating fatigue, mental fog, mental tightness, and a feeling of my brain not syncing with the world were all the direct results of my cilantro experiment. I also had to lower my dosage of DMSA-ALA because of the increased mercury redistribution. The best way I can describe what the cilantro did to my brain is to think about shaking up a snow globe, only instead of fake snow blizzard in water imagine a mercury milkshake in my brain. > > It has now been almost three months, and I am finally near to where I was before taking the Cilantro. I am more than happy now to wait out the slow improvements that DMSA-ALA + Pectasol give me. Perhaps cilantro would be more effective at a smaller dose, but I will not try it anytime soon and I would caution anyone thinking about trying it to be very careful, the cilantro does work but a little too well evidently. It also feels like it just digs out the mercury from your brain but doesn't help it get out which produces severe redistribution poisoning and could lead to permanent neurological damage. > > My advice is to stick with DMSA-ALA or just ALA while also taking a good fiber source such as Pectasol or mercury free Alginate. I can definitely say that this combination works, you just have to be patient and chelate for 1-3 years. I chelate 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off every week over the weekend, every 3 hours as per Andy Cutler's protocol, as this produces noticeable gains with tolerable side effects. I am currently on 25mg DMSA + 33mg ALA every three hours, and am about to increase to 50mg DMSA + 50mg ALA as soon as I feel the old dose not working. > > Good luck, it is possible to get better, just don't listen to most doctors or even holistic healers, research for yourself and take responsibility for your own health. > > Sincerely, >
