DMSA and Yeast - Help

Guys:

I have chronic yeast problems with my five and half year (40 lbs) Autistic kid.

The only thing that appears to work is Difulcan but he can't be on it forever.

I currently use a cocktail (once or twice a day morning and night) of Biotin,

Caprylic Acid, Yeast Management System (Cellulases), Olive leaf, Cummin, Garlic

extract, Probiotic (15 strains, 35bcfu) and I do not get a decent sustained

result. As soon as I add difulcan, his yeast issues begin to resolve.

Child did so well with enhansa for the first four days – and then regressed.

Since child does not swallow capsules, we figured there was no point continuing

with high priced enhansa since the manufacturer prefers for it to be swallowed

in capsule form. So we use Cummin instead of enhansa. Still can't figure out why

enhansa worked and then stopped working.

Son cannot swallow medication so I compound all his medication in a mortar and

spoon feed him. I use Stevia as sweetner since Stevia is considered not to be a

Yeast grower.

As I understand it, I cannot use GSE with Probiotic b/c GSE kills both yeast and

bacteria.

I cannot also use Sacharomyces boulardi with GSE, Biotin, Caprylic acid, Yeast

Cellulase, Cummin, Garlic extract because they all kill the supposedly

beneficial boulardi.

Yeast appears to worsens with DMSA chelation (100 mg/ 3 times a day). So it is

hard for me to gauge if DMSA is working or not.

Child is on your typical mitochondrial cocktail - B100, Folinic Acid, Amino

Acids, Zinc, CA/Mg, methyl B12 subcute, multimineral, CoQ10, ALA,

AcetylCarnithine, GABA, Glycine, Alpha Keto Gluterate.

Child is a very picky eater - likes dry and crunchy food and has only begun to

have a taste for chicken. Making sure he has enough protein is a challenge so we

make sure he gets his Amino Acids (egg white).

Child is strictly GFCF. His staple is a home made pancake - don't mind sharing

recipee with tapioca, rice and potato flour and plenty of eggs, almonds, and

olive oil.

I would appreciate any insight. Thanks.

Chris
