Guest guest
Well, IF they like it, it must be good for something then. I wonder IF we can grow wings IF we take it? Guest guest
I don't think I've seen that article but I have had great success making a poultice out of activated charcoal and keeping it on the affected area. It draws out the poison topically. It also works for spider and insect bites. Guest guest
> > I think I have poison ivy....I don't know if this could be retracing? I have had alot of healing in the past month( year into diet). Last weekend we were in the country at a bbq but I was no where around plants, I'm thinking I rubbed up against the dog? > Is there any special thing to put on it, the itching at night is driving me nuts.... > +++Hi sherry, More than likely you've got a rash that itches because of toxins coming out through the skin. So that's a good thing! First it is very important to follow the diet carefully and take all of the supplements. Second, you can help rashes most by helping your body detoxify, i.e. baths with Epsom salts or baking soda, dry skin brushing, coffee enemas, etc., but you don't want to suppress it since it is very important for healing your body. The itching is caused by the immune system in order to help heal and detoxify which is explained in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat14.php Bee
Guest guest
Well, that's an interesting idea. I suppose it doesn't work with sheep like it does with goats, or so I've heard that goat milk from goats who grazed on poison ivy was great as a preventative to those who drink it and then were seemingly immune to the poison ivy damage that they would normally get when exposed to that noxious three-leafer. Are you saying that this doesn't work with sheep? TTYL Does anyone know how to kill poison ivy? I read where vinegar or hydrogen peroxide will eventually kill it without harming the grazing sheep. If the sheep ingest the poison ivy, will it affect the milk? Any suggestions? Thanks, Darlene

Guest guest
Chamomile extract works beautifully here:-)) Just apply to area and hopefully it'll just disappear. If you can't find the extract quickly, then boil up chamomile tea and use compresses though this might prove to be less effective. Guest guest
on my doggy group someone posted that if you react to poison ivy you have a magnesium deficiency. Also, look around for jewelweed--it's in bloom right now and usu grows near poison ivy. squeeze juice of stem onto the rash. Very distinctive plant. best wishes, Fiona > > my girl walked through tons of poison ivy. is there any preventative measure that i could take? or is there something you would recommend at the first sign of any trouble. i don't need more things to deal with at this time. thanks >
