I've noticed that I don't feel as bad as I did last winter. I still have my bad days, but their not as bad as they could be. I'm also on MTX. I take 6 tabs 1 day a week. I'm glad I don't feel as bad, too. It just takes too much out of me. I live in MN and I think the cold helps also. The dewpoint isn't as high, I think. Though this winter has been pretty warm so I have been having flareups.

I live in the north and have noticed that since being on meds for RA, I tolerate the cold winter weather better. I feel stronger overall. I used to wither like a tender leaf and feel overwhelmed by the cold...Anyone else? (I'm on MTX and it's helped me very much.)Sierra

You missed my point. I'm not saying the cold helps. I'm saying that

going on R.A. meds seems to have helped me have tolerate the cold

better.

Hi all- It has been 20 below zero here in maine and the cold just makes me hurt. Being on meds helps me tolerate the cold but a hot shower or heating pad is worth its weight in gold around here in winter. Yours, Deborah in Maine...BRRR

Oops, sorry. I can tolerate the cold better than the summer because it gets so humid here.
