Here's some food for thought:

A neutralized DMSA (a form of salt) has been used as a brain imaging agent.

It is very established that DMSA doesn't cross the BBB in humans. I'm not going

to do your homework especially since you seem to be trolling.

You might be, quite possibly, the dumbest person I have ever encountered.

But here you go, I'm sure you think you know more than Andy Cutler.

> Do you have any scientific evidence to support your view that DMSA can't cross

the blood barrier? I can provide the research results on large dosage

applications of DMSA (20mg/kg per day) to detox mercury, which is published in a

peer-reviewed scientific journal (not FDA). Do you think this'll repedudiate

your conjecture on the large dosage approach?>

You cannot provide anything. DMSA doesn't cross the blood brain barrier in

humans. There are no studies that support this. Please stop writing such things.

It creates a lot of uncertainity and confusion.

It has been extremely hard to establish a model of a human blood-brain barrier

from what I know. What has been shown in rats might not be automatically

translated in to human.

The FDA basically quotes one study, over and over, for proof that DMSA crosses

the BBB (in rats). They DID approve DMSA for removing lead from brains of

children; based on this one study is my assumption.

At this point, the science overwhelmingly points to DMSA being unable to cross

the human BBB. Merely Googling it shows you the opinion out there to support

that.

I do worry about what you are doing in your home, . Although I don't

agree with *how* you are being challenged on your beliefs I do agree with the

point they are trying to make that low dose/high frequency use of a chelator is

really the safest way to get rid of metals. Since this is a group that pretty

much advocates Andy Cutler's protocol only... openly discussing other protocols

is just going to be met with opposition.

Our goal is to minimize use of protocols like yours. We can be nicer about it,

but 'nice' isn't always effective! Lots of people are here because their use of

DMSA in high doses/infrequent doses caused major problems. Not sure why you

feel your experience trumps all of theirs?

Have a great Sunday.

Why are you on this group? This group discusses and supports those doing

chelation through AC low, frequent dosing protocol. If you are not doing that -

why are you HERE?

Many, many of us here have recovered our children doing this protocol, or are

well on the way to having recovered children. I have been using ALA per Andy's

protocol for almost 2 years for my son, and he has graduated out of all his

supportive therapies - OT, Behavioral, Speech, etc. He will be reevaluated next

month as he most likely doesn't meet the criteria for an ASD dx anymore.

No one likes to be attacked or 'spoken' to the way you are speaking to people.

Rudeness is not necessary.

As far as your " peer reviewed medical journal " defense. Um....so WHAT? They are

pharma funded. All the " studies " also show that vaccines are " safe " , and we all

know how that turns out. Get serious. " Peer reviewed medical study " proves only

that MD's will scratch each other's backs for $$$.

My kid recovered is my proof. I don't give a crap what ANY MD, or journal or

study says. Period.

The many other parents here who have kids recovered or well on the way from this

protocol ...... that is our scientific proof.

Most likely you will not find like minded support here.

Why not go start your own " 's Chelation " group? Your opinions are

not embraced here and you are not changing minds. If you have, they could join

you on YOUR group.

Best wishes.

I totally, completely disagree here. If you see the description on the Home

page, in no place does it say this is an exclusive AC group. We've made it that

way, obviously.

I still think what is dangerous.

I humbly say I was wrong! I did NOT realize the homepage did not say this

exclusively AC protocol.

And yet, if you come here and promote a method of chelation that most here have

tried and seen NOT work, or worse, cause damage - you will be called on it. Yes,

Dana used a different way with ALA, but, she doesn't insult others for doing

chelation with AC methods. In fact she is good about disclaiming that she did a

method most disagree with. It worked for her. She is respectful and helpful.

That is the example Mr. Pang would do well to follow.

If he is so angry that people disagree with him, again, find a new venue.
