, you could put each dose in a separate container, but I don't. For a 5mg

dose, I would put 5 tsp of juice in a small container that seals (like

tupperware) and add the 25 mg capsule. I would then shake thoroughly and take

out 1 tsp for each dose (use an oral syringe that you can get in the baby dept

at the drugstore). Shake thoroughly before taking out each dose. This should

get you roughly a 5 mg/dose.

The 12 hour number is a guideline..I wouldn't have heartburn about going 16

hours. Make sure to refrigerate the doses. You are using an acidic juice which

is good.

I do ALA exactly the same way, but I do keep them in separate containers so I

can take a dose of DMSA from one container and then add a dose of ALA from a

separate container. This also allows you to vary the dosage between the 2.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. The little guy had some diarrhea after we gave

his 3am dose, the juice might have been too strong. We are going to just

just mix a fresh dose with a little rice milk and see how that goes.
