twin boys need a home

A social worker in Connecticut has contacted us requesting assistance

with placing twin brothers with autism in a new home. The boys are 7

year old twins with autism. They are Caucasian, with brown hair and

slender builds. They are in the first grade and receive special ed services. One

is non verbal with some sign language and the other has verbal communication.

They do well with a routine and are in music therapy

and will soon start swimming classes. The boys identify well with each

other and the social worker is trying hard to place them in the same

home. They may consider separating them if they can be placed close

enough that they can have ongoing visitation with each other.

If you live in Connecticut or know someone that does, please share this

with anyone in that state who may be interested in giving these young

boys a good home (interested families must reside in CT). You may

contact Cassista at (860) 456-6635 or her supervisor at (860) 456-6629. And

once again, kudos to these social workers for their hard work on behalf of these

boys.

Thank you,

Anissa J. Ryland, Director of Operations

Thoughtful House Center for Children
