Guest guest
I don't even do the GFCF diet but I would have bought the book if the money had gone to NAA or Safeminds. organisations that actually do help in the real world, with nobody on a salary at all Mandi in UK In a message dated 03/10/2010 01:10:35 GMT Daylight Time, christiebessinger@... writes: Very untrue. Guest guest
My turn offs were the Park Avenue office and the private jet for Bob paid for by Autism Speaks funds. Last I heard they were the only non-profit where the founder had a private jet. Seriously, does your chief science officer really need to make $700K a year??? What really gets me is Bob started the organization for his grandson Christian. Christian is a biomed kid, but AS is spending a fortune on genetics and has basically written off the vaccine theory. If it's genetics, then biomed won't help. So he'll support his grandson doing biomed but not fund research into it??? Oh yeah....didn't one of the companies he was CEO of manufacture thimerosal? When you're daughter, the mother of the child you started the organization for, leaves your organization, there's an issue there. She probably knows WAY more than she's gone public with. I will no longer buy anything that supports them or fund raise for them. I only do so now for our local autism groups where we actually see the money at work, and the people who run them are volunteers, not people getting sickening high 6 figure salaries. Guest guest
Why would they want to reduce the rates? Reduce the rates, then donations dwindle, then the big wigs have to give up there 6 figure salaries and Park Avenue offices. Bob might lose his private jet paid for by AS Kerrie In a message dated 10/4/2010 9:45:35 P.M. I'm sure they have done a lot " for " autism because they certainly have not done anything to truly reduce autism rates.
