Guest guest
Hello, I am new on this board. Basically, we met with a DAN doctor and my son's test results came back. He has a leaky gut, yeast overgrowth, heavy metals (mercury), and an infection (she doesn't know what, but she thinks it's Lymes disease). We need to get my son's body to a healing place with a very restrictive diet. We are following the IGG tests. Then she wanted us to come back in a month to talk about chelation and testing for Lymes. This is all out of pocket, so we have already spent a ton of money. So, she want to do IV chelation because it's most effective. She also mentioned suppositories. The IV is twice a month. The test for Lymes will determine whether or now he has it. Then we go for treatment. This is going to be thousands upon thousands of dollars. So, I guess what I want to ask is, is there any other way to do chelation besides such an invasive and expensive route? Any recommended oral way? Has anyone dealt with Lyme's disease? He tested 1054 on the Neopterin level. Any advice? Thanks! Lori
