CHELATION: DAN PROTOCOL VS CUTLER PROTOCOL

We only have experience with the Cutler protocol . . . Andy is not in

agreement about suppositories, FWIW.

The more I researched about DAN vs. Cutler protocol, the more Andy's made

sense, based on the " half-life " and availability of the DMSA within the

body, and the resulting transport of toxic materials. Your mileage may very.

But, personally, I find it disturbing that DAN doctors don't seem to research

Cutler's protocol, it really makes more sense to me than the conventional

DMSA " challenge " and resulting protocol which appears to put more stress on

the body and result in redistribution of toxic materials.

Just my 2-cents, from mom of a " recovered " child!

Good luck,

BJ

Hi

Please can you comment on your experiences with either of the chelation

protocols.

I know Cutler is safer and slower. My DAN protocol is more agressive

DMSA 175mg oral (every 8 hours) and DMSA suppositories (1/ day) for three

days, rest and repeat every other week

for a 44 lb child (4 yo).

I have not started yet, but the DAN is protocol is very expensive (around

400 every two months if my husband understood correctly

I though it was 200). Insurance I do not think they feel they want to pay

since my DAN has not contacted them justifying the

use of chelation. I am worried about safety, too. I have done previously

the DMSA suppositories (6 rounds), and I hate the 6 hour urine collection

test.

I read Andy protocol and I feel comfortable that he seems to know his stuff.

It is a long term protocol tho, which is ok

I would like to know if you have done the DAN protocol similar to the one we

have and if you have had success, how

long a protocol like this last? ....

Any opinions would be appreciated

Thanks
