dishpan w water as hot as you can tolerate?

I just know from my symptoms.  This all started with a trip to the hospital

about 8 months ago because I was having chest pains really bad.  Tons of tests

on my heart and they say nothing is wrong.  Since that time I've made two more

trips to the ER.  They always say nothing is wrong.  When I started taking

magnesium malate, my symptoms got better but then over time it seemed that my

body stopped absorbing the magnesium and the symptoms returned.  Made another

trip to the er a few weeks ago and again nothing is wrong.  But now the symptoms

are worse than ever and I'm afraid I'm going to die.  No more money for doctors

and they havn't helped me anyway.  Chelation seems to have made things worse but

when I stop they are even worse than that.

How do you know you are so desperate for magnesium?  I've missed out on that

info in earlier posts.

it does it whether I'm doing chelation or not.  The only time since this started

that I've been able to get it to stop was when I was taking magnesium every two

hours.  I felt fantastic for a while but then it stopped working.

This actually screams _arsenic_ to me.

What tests have you done? How is your skin? Ferritin and thyroid levels?

Abnormalities in both would cause the heart palpitations you describe.

Instead of fixating on Mg, can you please give a more complete picture?

_HOW_ did you chelate? Do you have dental work? What are _all_ your

symptoms? Test results if any? (Especially the hospital ones i.e. blood

work and the technicians reading of the EKG.) Supplements?

Hi, I havn't done any tests beause I can't afford it anymore.  When I first got

sick if I would have known how to persue this better, then I would have still

had some money for a test.  Joint pain, numbness, pale facial coloring,

sometimes bleeding gums, tingling in extremeties etc, green nasal discharge

especially in the morning, heart pounding, angina pain, feeling of not getting

enough air.I've had ekg's and they are all normal, 2 nuclear stress tests, tons

of hospital blood work.  All normal.  Last time I was in the ER I mentioned the

possibility of heavy metals and they wanted nothing to do with that.  I am

supposed to have one filling in my mouth and I've had family members do a

thourogh search of my mouth with a mirror and nobody can find any filling.  Its

possible that it isn't amalgam even if it is still there.  Was put there when I

was about 12 years old, I am now 45.  I talked to the Dentist that put it there

(he is now retired and the

records no longer exist)  He says there is a possibility that it was not

amalgam.

No other dental work whatsoever.

Co-Q10 is helpful regardless.

tests? Get them if not.

In 1977, composite fillings were _extremely_ rare in the US, Canada and

Europe. Most likely it would have been amalgam.

Again, testing and trating your thyroid and possible anemia would make

you feel better.

Now, about this chelation. How, when, how much? dosage? what chelator?

Thats just what I'm telling you, magnesium DOES make it feel better.  My body

has just stopped accepting it for some reason which makes me think even more

that its mercury.  I've had about 25 on cycle days total of  100 mg ala and

tried kelatox last week and I thought it was gonna kill me.  Started another on

cycle to try to clean up the edta mess and my dmsa came in the mail.  Added that

in starting thursday.  That made my heart pounding and pain much much worse.

I've stopped dmsa but still on cycle with ala.

no epsom salt baths havn't really helped at all.  What makes me still think that

its magnesium is that I did rectal infusions and they helped.  I don't know if

any of you have tried to get in 50 degree C water but its not any fun.  I can't

I have been on a low calcium diet for months now. I am ingesting a half of the

recommended daily

allowance (RDA) for calcium. I could find no danger in an adult trialling such a

diet for a few

weeks, no pregnancy or disease. It will definitely free up bowel movements, and

probably improves

transport of a lot of minerals into the blood, not just magnesium.

I am autistic and had some cramping problems and fatiguing. I tested very low on

cellular magnesium

by an electrical test. After the change in diet, which only required leaving out

some particularly

high calcium foods, my energy increased and cramping ceased. I could cut back on

my magnesium

supplements. My hair seems softer and generally I am going well.

Working out one's calcium intake is fun. Just enter the foods you eat in the

'Keyword(s)' spot in

this link to the USDA:

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

The result will be the calcium, or lots of other nutrients, in 100 grams of the

item of food. Then

just work out how many grams of this food you buy in a week, and a simple

multiplication will give

you the amount of calcium you get in a week from that food item. Go through all

the food items you

eat and add the amounts to find the calcium you get in a week. Divide by 7 and

compare this result

with the RDA for calcium, given here:

http://dietary-supplements.info.nih.gov/factsheets/calcium.asp

as 1000 mg per day, or 7 grams per week.

Worth trying.

by an electrical test. After the change in diet, which only required leaving out

some particularly

high calcium foods, my energy increased and cramping ceased. I could cut back on

my magnesium

supplements. My hair seems softer and generally I am going well.

Working out one's calcium intake is fun. Just enter the foods you eat in the

'Keyword(s)' spot in

this link to the USDA:

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

The result will be the calcium, or lots of other nutrients, in 100 grams of the

item of food. Then

just work out how many grams of this food you buy in a week, and a simple

multiplication will give

you the amount of calcium you get in a week from that food item. Go through all

the food items you

eat and add the amounts to find the calcium you get in a week. Divide by 7 and

compare this result

with the RDA for calcium, given here:

http://dietary-supplements.info.nih.gov/factsheets/calcium.asp

as 1000 mg per day, or 7 grams per week.

Worth trying.

Thanks for the info.  It really helps to hear of other people going through

similar problems.  Thank you

gEorGE,  :)

How do you know you are so desperate for magnesium?  I've missed out on that

info in earlier posts.

Taurine &   co-Q10 is good. When you can can get copies of boodwork & those who

know more can help you figure it out. I haven't chelated yet, so can't comment

on how it feels. We'll move soon, so have been waiting. Have many of you tried

pygnogenol?

I understand symptoms can get worse when the body is detoxing.  You can

also try 5-HTP or GABA. Only go with 1.

I'm sorry if someone else has mentioned this, but low stomach acid will

reduce the beneficial bacteria required for magnesium absorbtion.  Working on

correcting any digestive issues to maximize the ability to absorb all nutrients.

Taurine is synergistic with magnesium and can also ease the effects on the

nervous system.  Anxiety, which can be a symptom of defiency, can certainly lead

to heart pains/chest tightness/heart palps.

I have a long standing problem with rapid heart rate, low blood pressure, 'out

of body' feelings along with those of impending doom.  I get where you are

coming from, and I know what it feels like to lie down and night and wonder if

you will wake up that next morning.

co-Q10 helped me, too.  I'm not saying your issues are similar to mine nor will

my supplements work for you... but worth mentioning.

Good luck.

Thanks, I have a feeling that I do have a flora problem and I am trying to

address it but my need for magnesium is critical.  Hopefully the nebulizing will

help

I've gotten that pounding heart thing - and for me it's panic attacks. Anxiety.

It stopped when I supported the adrenals. My TCM MD said my adrenals were a

mess. Magnesium does help with adrenals, but I needed vit C and Adrenal Cortex

Extract, too.

I couldn't do any adrenal cortex stuff because it made my heart race. I can do

Balanced B's, C's, and Cal and Mag to slowly bring these back.

Which is why we suggest other supplements. Arginine. Acetyl-l-carnitine.

Taurine.

And apparently, obsessing on magnesium. Which means add LOTS of inositol

(as Andy says, " by the spoonful " ).

Yes. Iodine does not rid the body of mercury.

It seems that with ACE, there is a definite ramp up required in order
