Guest guest
http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2010-05-04-vaccines04_ST_N.htm I find the breakdown of why parents are refusing or delaying vaccines interesting. If I read the bar graph correctly, the majority of the cases where vaccines are being delayed (in their survey) is because the child was ill at the time vaccines were scheduled. That is simply following what is recommended protocol. Looking further, only 22-27% delayed or refused vaccines due to beliefs that there were too many vaccinations or that they led to Autism. That isn't much more than a 3% increase in the past 7 years... not a reason to freak out in the medical world. Numbers can be so deceiving.
