Guest guest
My daughter was on a seven week course of Diflucan (Fluconazole) a few weeks ago. She didn't seem to make any significant progress as a result, although she did seem more in tune to us at times. In fact, while on Diflucan, she started licking things which she had never done. She would usually mouth some things, but never saw her lick anything. Anyway, since she finished the course of Diflucan, she has been licking anything and everything, less focused, belly getting big again...so I started her on grapefruit seed extract and biotin one week ago. I give her 125 mg of grapefruit seed extract twice daily and 1000 mcg of biotin twice daily. I haven't seen any significant change in her, although she does seem to be paying slightly more attention to what we are doing. I'm wondering if I am giving her enough? What is the right dose of grapefruit seed extract and biotin? I don't want to give her Diflucan anymore because I don't think it's safe for long term use. How long does it take to know that they are really working? Thanks! Emerson momma to 2 little girls
