Guest guest
Hello Everyone! How do i know whether my child has Yeast? We did the stool test and it says that there was no microscopic yeast present in his stool. However they were able to culture Candida parapsilosis. So, my questions are: What are the symptoms of yeast? What should i look for to tell that my kid is having a yeast flare up? What should i look for to tell that the yeast is under control?please help. Rochelle.
Guest guest
Yeast reactions are different depending on the child. For us there is stimmy behavior (hand/finger tapping), pimples on the bottom, echolalia, hyperactivity. The type of candida you mention I believe is common; others may have more input. I have learned to stay away from things that largely exacerbate the yeast, except for chelation. I have also found that diff yeast fighters work for diff yeast reactions. Parasite cleanse and probiotics greatly reduce overall yeast reactions here. HTH, S. Sent from my iPhone On Jul 15, 2010, at 10:14 AM, " rochelle b " <mcroche2002@...> wrote: Hello Everyone! Guest guest
So,if i understand correctly, anything and everything can be attributed to elevated yeast. I think Dana also suggests that yeast caused asthma in her child. She also mentions that there is Gut yeast and brain yeast.Brain yeast causes hyperactivity, stimming etc whereas gut yeast causes malabsorption leading to fatigue, dark circles under the eyes etc. This is really hard to understand. Guest guest
Hi Rochelle,  So what I have learned (experienced) so far is that yes, the overflow of yeast can be the cause of alot of things happening in our bodies. It is not the cause for " everything " but can be a contributing factor for a lot of common things like colds, rashes, asthma, headaches, behavior, etc. in our kids. If we get sick, the first thing I give is OoO just to see if that will " get it " (most of the time it does) then I will increase the C, E, A, etc. To add, food elimination works really well for us in helping to control the yeast.  I see it like this (for us): Yeast > from weakened immune systems > from mainly Hg (and other contributors). To fix this, Chelate > will fix immune system > thereby decreasing yeast. My goal is to chelate for at least 200 rounds, we have just finished round 59. To ease the systems while chelation, I work really hard on the immune systems and give supps for yeast, as-needed. I have never been good at controlling yeast but got a big break when I did a parasite cleanse which allowed me to get ahead of the yeast.  Since the parasite cleanse, I find that if I am " on-it " with the immune system I don't get alot of yeasty behavior. When I do, I give 4 Culturelle at night then we're good.  If the yeasty behavior is extreme then I use OoO but I haven't had to use OoO since about round 45.  HTH, S. > >From: rochelle b <mcroche2002@...> > >Sent: Thu, July 15, 2010 12:04:08 PM >Subject: [ ] Re: I dont understand...What are the symptoms of >YEAST. > > > >So,if i understand correctly, anything and everything can be attributed to >elevated yeast. Guest guest
Dark circles is caused by allergies mostly yeast kinda intoxicates your child........unclear,fuzzy.giggling and stimming.........yeast and sugar with grapes is wine...............yeast and sugar in kids gives similar effect. unless you treat yeast..............its hard to say what are your childs symptoms.my guy now is more clear with his wants.he is building sentences if your child craves sugar and is more silly after consumption........that is a good sign laila From: rochelle b <mcroche2002@...> Subject: [ ] Re: I dont understand...What are the symptoms of YEAST. Guest guest
HI Dana and All, How to treat Brain Yeast? Thanks, Sasmita > > How do i know whether my child has Yeast? > > > Here is my page that lists symptoms, not all-inclusive tho > > http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > > Dana >
Guest guest
Hi Dana, I read your yeast link page. Can you please tell me how much Biotin were you using per weight/age of the child? Is it ok to use Biotin for longer periods of time as maintenance to prevent yeast? Thanks, Ragha > > How do i know whether my child has Yeast? > > > Here is my page that lists symptoms, not all-inclusive tho > > http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > > Dana >
Guest guest
Not Dana but we worked up to 10mg per meal (30mg per day). I always gave with magnesium, just in case, as too much biotin can cause constipation. HTH, S. I started with 400mcg and worked up as required. The most I gave was 20mg 3x per day. > Is it ok to use Biotin for longer periods of time as maintenance to prevent yeast?
