I think it's a good question and you're not the only one who has had to consider

medication. I don't know the answer but look forward to hearing other's

replies. I also think Andy's Amalgam book mentions a lot of meds and you may

find helpful info there.

My opinion, as long as you are still working the biomedical, you do what you

have to do, in order to get through it. Some people don't realize how bad it

can get, they just haven't been there yet.

For us 25mg ALA every 3 hours, every other weekend is REALLY helping. We just

finished round #6. I also noticed that the Taurine has helped with anxiety

unlike any other supplement we have used.

some type of medication to help with the focus and anxiety. We are at about

round #125 with DMSA/ALA (spread out over nearly 5 yrs; long story) and I plan

to continue chelating.

His focus is so off. I am going to have him evaluated by Children's Hospital

here for possible meds.

so please don't criticize what I am doing! I just want to know if I need to

change chelation at all. Right now he is taking 25mgs ALA/25 mgs DMSA.

No. Just do it.

Good! No reason he should be miserable or fall behind while chelation is going

on - you can use other pills to suppress symptoms until they're gone.

Have you tried tyrosine, phenylalanine, forskolin and caffeine yet?

Andy, I believe I tried Tyrosine last year without any changes. I have not

tried anything else. What will phenylalanine do? My only experience with that

is watching family members with PKU avoid it (paternal grandfather not a carrier

so we are clear).

Thanks.
