Ok-so the 2 bones in my wrists-the radius and ulna- are separating...was at

work sun morning, picked up a chart and got severe pain in the left wrist

and forearm that did not go away. Went to ER and saw the orthopod today, and

,y ulna is popping in and out of the joint! OWWWWW!!!!! Thanks to the RA!

So, will be off work for awhile and hopefully will not surgical

intervention. The right wrist is pretty sore, but not dislocating, at least

yet....sherri

Stay strong and healthy

Keep the wrist braced all the time. I do that anyway and I dont care who sees them. They have ACE in red on them but I dont care. Its saved my wrists so far. I also use compression gloves for extra support for fingers, heel of palm etc. I hope you feel better soon. Yours, Deborah

What kind of compression or therapy gloves do you think work best? I am looking

for some, but am cheap, so if the expensive ones don't work any better than the

inexpensive ones, I will go with less. Thanks, tana

www.wisdomking.com ask for the 3/4 inch gloves. They are only 6.10 cents each plus low shipping. I woke up with severe hand flares in both hands last night and they are painful in both wrists and fingers. We are having terrible weather here in Maine and two Low pressure fronts together. I see my RD on tues and it cant be soon enough for me. I couldnt cook for my boyfriend and couldnt drive to see him so he had to pick me up and we went for dinner. I picked Dennys because I thought an omelete would be easy for me. I kept dropping the fork so used a spoon and when that failed, my angel of a guy helped me there too. He certainly is terribly understanding for someone without the disease. I have my compression gloves on now as I am typing. They work so well to shore up the terrible weakness during this flare. If you need any other help let me know. Yours, Deborah

> Thanks Deborah, these were definately the cheapest and the most comfortable

looking ones that I have seen. I ordered them and look forward to better times!
