Sherrie, I can understand you are nervous about your knee replacement, about two years ago I had both knees replaced, one of the best things I ever did. I am not saying it is an easy or perfect operation, but well worth it. The hospital won't let you be in pain, so don't worry about that. Just keep in mind how much better you will be when the operation is over. The main thing is to really work with the therapy and when you get home, keep you knee loose. About a month ago I had to have both feet done, that was quite painful, the joints were totally destroyed by ra, I keep thinking that I can now move my toes again, something that was quite painful or impossible

before. To keep our spirits up we have to keep thinking we will be better than we were before. Sherrie: On your knee replacment...do understand that pain will be involved. Having said that we all have different thresholds in pain. Hopefully yours is high. Regardless you are smart having it done. Make absolutely sure you follow through in rehab, following their instruction, indure the uncomfortableness and you'll be good as new. Most folks are walking normally within four to six weeks, again depending on the patient. Proper attitude is a must. through all this. Hang in there, you'll come through like a champ.Sherrie <scorn720@...> wrote: Well it is getting closer to haveing my knee replacement and I was wondering how bad the pain is after words how bad is it to get back up and get moving again I would really like to know as i am gettig a little scared the surgery is the 19th of thie month
