Guest guest
My daughter has a really high pitched voice...among many other issues. I am ordering the hair elements test tomorrow for both her and my son, but is there anything I can do until I get the results back to bring it to a normal tone? We are working with a speech therapist, and she is giving us some good ideas, but there are times it drives me nuts listening to it all day. Guest guest
There's info about this in " The Fabric of Autism " by Judith Bluestone. Does she also have auditory hypersensitivity? Guest guest
No, in fact she's only been diagnosed with a language delay, and that's by our local school system so she can get speech therapy. But, there are several foods that cause her to act out, and after reading here I now know that she has yeast, virus, and bacteria problems...so I'm sure if I pushed I could get a different diagnosis, but I don't need that to know what's going on with her, I already know. I know that certain foods make it worse. But she no longer acts out because she is on enzymes. Also, when she's singing songs or other really familiar things, it is a really normal voice. It's almost like, when it's not a routine response it gets higher. > > There's info about this in " The Fabric of Autism " by Judith Bluestone.
