Guest guest
My 13 year old crohns daughter has been doing very well on LDN and the SCD diet since Feb 09. She is presently on 3mgs a day. Lately she has cheated on the diet and seems to be flaring. She has lost 7 lbs in the last few months. It started slowly, but this week she is losing faster. She now weighs 85.5 lbs. She is back on track with the diet, but I don't know if that will be enough to control this flare. She doesn't feel sick at this point, but the weight lose is scaring me. Should I increase her LDN? Guest guest
there is a special group for ldn and crohn.increasing ldn is not always the answer.some time a cure of prednisone not higher then 10 mg for grown up.you should try to contact dr mccandless if it is the same for a child.
