Guest guest
Hi , We must be doing the same research, at the same time as I feel my daughters have the same problem; not enough stomach acid. Reflux can be a sign of low stomach acid...my youngest daughter especially has this. However my girls do not take capsules whole, and betaine HCL cannot be opened and sprinkled... so no supplementing with this for us. We would if we could...not much to loose by trying, this supplement is cheap and pretty safe. Part of the problem of low stomach acid can be poor positioning of stomach etc.due to...? We will be seeing a chiropractor for this and see what he says. But I feel that it is really because of low stomach acid. Is anyone supplementing with this? I would appreciate any comments, suggestions. Guest guest
I am an adult with this (lifelong) problem- acid reflux. I was always given acid reducers in the past until I realized my problem was too little acid, and low bile flow. I take taurine, PS, glycine and milk thistle with meals. I haven't taken betaine HCI yet, well, because I hate to add yet another supplement to my regimen. Someone suggested taking ACV with meals. I found that Braggs makes an ACV drink - mixed with a little honey to make it more palatable. I sip a little of it after meals and it has helped with acid a lot. so maybe if you could get your kids to drink this - or maybe disguised in something, it would help them. Guest guest
Anyone with Low Acid is because your body is in an ACID state. You need to get your bodies pH to 7.3 -7.4 if you body is not at that level you are going to have health issues. This means that you NEED to change your diet. 75% Alkalline Food and 25% Acid Ash food. Make sure when you eat your food you are not combining the wrong foods. That can be another issue with your Low Acid. If you are interested in changing your body so you don't have any more Acid Reflux . you can email me off board and I will send you the protocol. Take care Wani
