I see the people in the group Childrens Apraxia Net usually gives advices/tips

about dealing with IEP meetings, etc. (it's not its main discussion, though):

diagnosis too.

SOrry don't have experience but I have a resource the below web site is a good

resource for iep,etc.

One other thing, a close friend of mine has a daughter with dyslexia and the

school was fighting her for resources.  She hired an advocate someone who was

an expert in ieps, laws etc... This woman was amazing, the school had no idea

what they were obligated to do until after this woman set them straight. 

Needless to say the school gave my friends daughter what she needed but my

friend said it was expensive but it was worth it.   After everything was done

the schools special needs director who was sooo impressed with her work she

hired the advocate to help with a relative..
