Guest guest
My doc has recommended this for our daughter who seems to be drifting off and not able to focus at school. Thanks!
Guest guest
Hi! I'm new to the group - sorry I haven't posted an introduction. YES - we LOVE Enhansa for our daughter. We started it shortly after the first of the year with her. She is 5 years old and has only worked her way up to 3 scoops per day (the 2nd highest dosage) but, since the first of the year we have recieved numerous notes about good days at school and the teachers now want to extend her day in the " typically developing " classroom! She has even started toilet training for BM since starting Enhansa! It took her until last September to toilet train for tinkle (right before she turned 5 years old) and she has fought the rest to the point of us having to take her to a psychiatrist who specializes in encopresis. Enhansa has helped bring out so many more words, too! She is stringing 6 - 8 words together for sentences and putting them in correct order most of the time, too! Our insurance covered it, too, with the doctor's prescription. Guest guest
I just received a small amount for a trial. I've heard good, bad, and indifferent results with this. I got the impression it has to do with how the child handles sulfer/sulfite/sulfate and phenols. Don't remember where exactly, but after reading up on it for a while, it sounded like my child may benefit from it. Chelating this weekend so we'll start a trial Tues. I never start a new supp during chelation. > > My doc has recommended this for our daughter who seems to be drifting off and not able to focus at school. > > Thanks! >
Guest guest
Hi, I will add that my son is currently on Enhansa from Lee Silsby and I do not see much difference in his behavior either way. I do know of a mother who swears by it for her child. My son's doc recommended he keep taking it for inflammation purposes even if I don't see much of anything. I also think it is a little pricey. May ________________________________ From: mosaictm <sunshine369@...> Sent: Thu, February 4, 2010 8:14:44 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Anyone tried Enhansa? Guest guest
My son started having phenol issues after starting enhansa but we have seen decent improvements with it. I started him on molybdenum and this resolved the phenol issues. > > > > My doc has recommended this for our daughter who seems to be drifting off and not able to focus at school. > > > > Thanks! > > >

Guest guest
We tried no-phenal and he lost focus and attention (not sure why) - so I tried the molybdenum. I give him Kirkman Labs - 300 mcgs in AM and 300 in PM. I started at 100 mcgs and worked our way up to the 600. I want to increase to 1000 in the future because we got very good improvements from the molybdenum besides the phenol improvements. He started coloring and drawing for the first time ever (he'll be eight next month). > > > > > > My doc has recommended this for our daughter who seems to be drifting off and not able to focus at school. > > > > > > Thanks! > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
my son does well on Enhansa too.. before he was in a fog but after using Enhansa he's much more alert and in the present, eye contact improved, more energy..for us it was very effective.  I know that curcumin has been used medicinally since ancient times.  As some else said, it is expensive. I agree but worth trying. As for dosing start low and slow. From: RhondaH <carabeara7@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Anyone tried Enhansa? (Curcumin) Date: Thursday, February 4, 2010, 8:40 AM  Hi!
