Hi Jill

We are newcomers to the protocol - 12 weeks so far - but saw changes from

the first round. If we keep on seeing these improvements perhaps within 12

months our son will have overcome most of the ASD traits. Once you start and

see gains you will be excited about continuing it for as long as it takes.

Good luck

Chris

100-300 rounds depending upon the person. That can take anywhere from 1-5 years

depending how many rounds you do a year. It will be four years for us in

April..we are on round 86 now. It's a long road but well worth it for us as my

son has lost his PDD dx a few years back and it almost completely NT now. He has

a few lingering issues with sensory (tactile mostly) and taking things literally

that you say. But these are nothing compared to where we started.

We have also been able to lax up on his diet a lot in the past year. And his

chronic candida is gone, making very rare appearances that are easily controlled

and gotten rid of.

Thanks so much for your responses! Not sure why I am so worried about length of

time, since without it, we'll be dealing with the same things (diet,

behavior, etc.) we are now..ha! I guess I am just nervous about it kicking up

yeast, and other behavior provoking things. Like the past few years of

bio-medical, I will just have to stick with it. I am thrilled I found this group

and am learning so much! Thanks for everything!! Jill

My son required 100 rounds over 2-1/4 years.

Most will say 100-300 rounds. A round is a week usually. 2-6 years for full

recovery.

This means:

- No special diet

- No special supplements

- No behavioral issues

- No health issues like excema, yeast, etc...

My older son has been chelating for a year and he has gone from moderate Autism

to mild. He has lost all of his stereotypical behaviors. His main issues now are

language and socialization, which go hand in hand.

Amalgam Illness by Andy Cutler is the most needed in my opinion. You

will need to refer to it during chelation. Also you can refer to previous post

and find just about any topic you are looking for. http:// onibasu.com

Good Luck! Janet

3 days on (~72 hours) 4 days off = 1 week

Some people do 2 week rounds during summer and holidays.
