However,I am thinking he may need Feingold to help reduce or eliminate phenols etc... Problem-He is 8 yo now,has a little NT sibling and he spends time at his Dad's place who may not fully co operate with any limitations b/c he does not believe in this sort of intervention. I was looking at the fruits that are forbidden on the diet and was wondering for starters what fruits' can out kids' HAVE when on Feingold? Also what bread?I understand you eliminate artificial colors, processed foods etc... Any guidance is greatly appreciated! jake's MOM
Guest guest
You might consider low fenol diet for now. It might resolve some issues but will never heal your son. What helped my son with bad phenol problem - chelation with ALA only for 1 year and molybdenum. Now he can eat any fruits and veggies without any troubles.
