Guest guest
Exactly. Start, increase your protocol and just make sure you have the basic supplements needed while doing it. Also add digestive enzymes. Tammy [ ] anxious to start chelation I am really anxious to chelate my daughter since mercury in the brain is supposed to be the root cause of all the symptoms in our kids. We are under the direction of a DAN doctor, whom I trust. We have started a very high dose of probiotics to treat an extremely high level of bacteria and are about to start Fluconizole to treat yeast. I have read that you have to treat the yeast before you start chelation, but I've also read that treating the yeast can be an ongoing battle. So, my question is... if yeast is always going to be an issue, why not start chelation since this will treat the root cause of it all, including the yeast??? Get the yeast " reasonably under control " , and learn what your child needs to keep it that way. Then start chelating. You will have to fight yeast throughout most of chelation. Guest guest
You'll never truly get the yeast taken care of until you chelate. I hope this doc you trust does oral chelation with low, slow, frequent dosing and NO challenges. Moving mercury will increase yeast so you need to be prepared for that. Some docs will try to convince people that it's because of oral dosing instead of from moving mercury. Guest guest
You are exactly right. You will never get the yeast under control as long as the metals are present. Get going on chelation. Please follow the AC protocol for chelation. Most DAN doctors follow a dangerous high dose protocol. Guest guest
So, I know that everyone here is following the AC protocol for chelation, but I have been hearing from others about liquid zeolite for chelation. Why would this not work? It's oral, supposed to act quicker, has anti-fungal properties to help fight yeast, and is supposedly a very safe method. Obviously, I want to do what is best and safest for my daughter. I'm just new to this idea of chelation and want to make a very informed decision, so as to not harm my child. Thanks so much for the support! Emerson momma to 2 little girls > > You are exactly right. You will never get the yeast under control as long as the metals are present. Guest guest
How many kids have recovered using the AC protocol for chelation? Is there a website, testimonials? How do we know this works? Because parents start to see results? And do most DAN doctors recommend the AC protocol? So, if I do this chelation, where are the instructions and where do I get it? How does everyone know what to do? Can I do this without a doctor? Or is it better to get my DAN doc involved? Sorry for all the questions, but I SO appreciate the answers! Guest guest
How many kids have recovered using the AC protocol for chelation? I don't know, but many have improved tremendously, including my son. Is there a website for testimonials? Check out the files. ( " moria, love stories " ? or something like that?) How do we know this works? Because you see changes in your children. Yes. Do most DAN! doctors recommend the AC protocol? No, most do not understand it or are not interested in it because it can be done at home inexpensively. Where are the instructions? In the files. Can I do this without a doctor? Many of us do. Is it better to get my DAN! doctor involved? This is a personal decision. I have found a mainstream pediatrician to follow my son while doing this protocol. I believe my case is probably quite rare. It is comforting to have someone you can go to with concerns that understands what you are doing and why. You can print the " Andy Cutler Protocol " memo in the files and show your doctor if you like. > > > > > > You are exactly right. Moderators started to collect progress reports in the frequent dose chelation group, links section: frequent-dose-chelation/links/Chelation_pro\ gess_reports__children_file_001217093868/ This file is very incomplete. The people collecting the stories don't follow autism mercury routinely - so we only catch a few here and there. there are many stories in the autism mercury archives that are not part of any collection. There is also a file for adult progress reports in that group. J
Guest guest
Tried it. It didn't work. It chelated nothing. Also VERY expensive compared to ALA. Wish I had that money and time back. The thing that pisses me off the most, is I paid good money to a DAN that came highly recommended for that advice. And I wasted almost a year, that I could have been making progress. That wasn't helped by another DAN who actually caused my kid to regress. You have to get the mercury out of the brain. ALA does this. Does a zeolite cross the BBB? It all sounds logical when you are sold it, and you are just starting out. For the money you think, they certainly couldn't sell this stuff without it doing something. I think it helped with ammonia levels. Just like it does in fish tanks. Taurine is cheaper. My son improved on ALA from round one. I paid $8 for 60 capsules of ALA. And it IS safe, - if used properly. For heaven's sake, most of America is already taking it improperly. It's in every other multivitamin/antioxidant formula. I don't agree that is how ANYONE should use it, but they are. Yesterday my 7 yr old son went furniture shopping with us. For 4 hours. He was just like a regular 7 yr old. In one of the stores, I got into a home schooling discussion with a salesman we had bought things from years ago. I mentioned my son's ASD diagnosis. He was shocked. He said that our son clearly was NOT autistic in anyway (yes he still does have a dx, but his scores are WAY higher) and that our son was the best behaved and smartest kid he'd seen in a long time. > > > > You are exactly right. Guest guest
No DAN doctor, currently. I take my son to our family practice DO once a year, a homeopath, a TCM MD who used to be a traditional pediatrician, and a Naturopathic Physician. I make the final decisions. I have to watch my son deal with the results. > > > > > > You are exactly right. You will never get the yeast under control as long as the metals are present.
