Guest guest
Where do you recommend getting this test done? Do you need a Dr.'s sign off? I see some options in the group's files but would like to know from the group more about the best way of having this test done. Thanks so much for everyone's help so far! Guest guest
We did ours at the french lab labbio.net. http://www.labbio.net/index.php?page=order You want the first test on the list, " Porphyrins (toxicity biological marker) " , for $120. You don't need a doctor's request. Be advised, urine tests are not always very accurate. They are a snapshot in time, specifically one morning's urine. Hair tests are more acurate. That said, we did get a result of mercury toxicity on both our boys that helped us to make the decision to chelate. Please do not do this test or any other lab test to determine when you are done chelating. That determination should be made when the symptoms of toxicity have cleared (No more Autism). Andy says to chelate until you are " All Better " and then chelate for a few months after that.
