Guest guest
We are in a situation where we might have to start medications with my son (Asperger's Syndrome, possible bipolar disorder, and metal tox). This is a new route for us, one that I never wanted to do but is becoming neccessary now. I am wondering if it is alright to keep chelating w/ the Cutler protocol while he is on medications. Anybody out there doing that already? Thanks all!! Blaire Cincinnati
Guest guest
From the info I have seen in the past it is OK. We are not on meds, so maybe you can wait for another response. I do know there are a lot of people chelating while taking a lot of different stuff. (seizure meds, anti-depressants, etc...) Guest guest
Yes, Andy says in Amalgam Illness that some people depending upon the severity of their poisoning may need medications to control the problems until enough mercury is removed. Since the " possible bipolar " is really mercury poisoning...at some point in chelation that will go away. It can be helped with supplemental lithium, making sure his thyroid and adrenals work. But using medications is warranted in some cases. Jan > > We are in a situation where we might have to start medications with my son (Asperger's Syndrome, possible bipolar disorder, and metal tox). Guest guest
Thanks, Jan, and everyone else! Jan: We have tried him on lithium supplement and it makes him really irritable. Is there anything to that? You say making sure his thyroid and adrenals work. Is there a test of any sort that you would reccomend for thyroid and/or adrenals. I hate to put him on meds, but we are trying so much and his behavior keeps getting more and more rage-like. We've been chelating for some time now so we will stick with that and hope for the best. Thanks for any input you can help me with! Blaire > > > > We are in a situation where we might have to start medications with my son (Asperger's Syndrome, possible bipolar disorder, and metal tox).
