Guest guest
Zeolite is basically dirt, volcanic ash. It does not leave the gut, so how can it remove mercury for the organs or brain? This has been discussed very much on the list. Try searching the archives. The only thing it removes is money from your wallet. It's a rip off. Why would this not work? It's oral, supposed to act quicker, has anti-fungal properties to help fight yeast, and is supposedly a very safe method. Obviously, I want to do what is best and safest for my daughter. I'm just new to this idea of chelation and want to make a very informed decision, so as to not harm my child. Thanks so much for the support! Emerson momma to 2 little girls > > You are exactly right. You will never get the yeast under control as long as the metals are present. We are under the direction of a DAN doctor, whom I trust. We have started a very high dose of probiotics to treat an extremely high level of bacteria and are about to start Fluconizole to treat yeast. I have read that you have to treat the yeast before you start chelation, but I've also read that treating the yeast can be an ongoing battle. So, my question is... if yeast is always going to be an issue, why not start chelation since this will treat the root cause of it all, including the yeast??? > > Emerson > momma to 2 little girls > > > > > > > >

It didn't work. It chelated nothing. Also VERY expensive compared to ALA. Wish I had that money and time back. The thing that pisses me off the most, is I paid good money to a DAN that came highly recommended for that advice. And I wasted almost a year, that I could have been making progress. That wasn't helped by another DAN who actually caused my kid to regress. You have to get the mercury out of the brain. ALA does this. Does a zeolite cross the BBB? It all sounds logical when you are sold it, and you are just starting out. For the money you think, they certainly couldn't sell this stuff without it doing something. I think it helped with ammonia levels. Just like it does in fish tanks. Taurine is cheaper. My son improved on ALA from round one. I paid $8 for 60 capsules of ALA. And it IS safe, - if used properly. For heaven's sake, most of America is already taking it improperly. It's in every other multivitamin/ antioxidant formula. I don't agree that is how ANYONE should use it, but they are. Yesterday my 7 yr old son went furniture shopping with us. For 4 hours. He was just like a regular 7 yr old. In one of the stores, I got into a home schooling discussion with a salesman we had bought things from years ago. I mentioned my son's ASD diagnosis. He was shocked. He said that our son clearly was NOT autistic in anyway (yes he still does have a dx, but his scores are WAY higher) and that our son was the best behaved and smartest kid he'd seen in a long time. > > > > You are exactly right.
