When I fisrt researched LDN many years ago when I was first diagnosed with MS, I was led to believe the cost was around £25 to £30 per month. So, I was gobsmacked when I learned how much I have been costing the NHS over the past 7 years. More research revealed that Dixon's Pharmacy in Glasgow who manufacture the capsules with Avicil filler will post them to you upon receipt of your prescription and their charge to the NHS is just what it should be - £30 - £35 for a month's supply. So ' C' you are absolutely right ! Someone is ripping off the NHS. In my case to the tune of over £20,000 in 7 years. Multily that by the number of MS'ers on LDN and it will amount to an enormous figure. If we want to reduce costs, surely things like this must be looked at. It's a NO BRAINER. I mentioned this because it's an extremely cheap way of getting LDN.. £30 a year rather than paying whatever every month for a prescriptio.n. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
