Guest guest
Anyone experience this after starting LDN? My feet also seem to smell funny. I am a very clean person, so it's kinda weird. Bindi
Guest guest
Never seen this on the list. Taking any other drugs? Change in eating habits? Maybe a UTI? Guest guest
Eating asparagus will frequently cause odd urine odors in certain body chemistries. Had any of that lately? Guest guest
....probably sweating out die-off residue from whatever your enhanced immune system is killing off and bacteria might be dining on parts of it? might be some changes in body chemistry too. i'm a painter/paperhanger (when there's work) and i use colloidal silver in a spray bottle on armpits, crotch, and feet/socks/shoes/slippers. doesn't inhibit sweating but prevents bacteria growth so i don't get body odor or fungus growing in sweaty feet. my only pair of work shoes don't smell a bit. love it. bobL > [low dose naltrexone] LDN and strange-smelling urine > > Anyone experience this after starting LDN? Guest guest
Bindi, Many people (especially with MS) start to sweat after using LDN. Now this is actually a very good thing because of heat tolerance issues with MS. Many people have been very excited about being able to sweat again. The urine smelling differently I have not heard about before though. Aletha
Guest guest
Sometimes you smell like a nut, sometimes you dont! I had something like that 2 weeks ago. I've been taking lots of MSM and Captomer and one day I was exuding the sulfur stench and I could even taste it...PU! It lasted -3 days. Re: LDN and strange-smelling urine Posted by: "Garnet" garnet@... garnetridge Fri Sep 4, 2009 9:31 am (PDT) I would look at if there is anything new in your diet. Also consider the possibility that your sense of smell is more sensitive. Hyperosmia is common inpregnancy and multiple chemical sensitivity. LDN does affect hormones so it is not out of the realmof possibility that it could have some affect on olfaction in some people. Not everyone would noticeit particularly if there sense of smell was low initially and then just became normal.Funny story: I noticed a new body odor recently, not offensive just different and then realized I was eating more almonds, had taken to eating them for breakfast every morning. When I backed off the every day habit the new odor went away. I thought the odor was familiar somehow. I would describe it initially as a crayon or wax sortof aroma but then I realized it was close to the aroma of the raw almonds.Garnet Back to top Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post Messages in this topic (6)
