Yet another dosing question . . .

I just want to ask the “masses” about initial

LDN start up dosing. When I had my phone consult with Dr. Sullivan, he

prescribed for me LDN in the following stages:

1.5 mg for 3 weeks, 3.0 mg for 3 weeks and then on up to the

4.5 mg. Of course, he instructed me to listen to my body and if I was not

comfortable at the 4.5 mg dose, then back down to the 3.0 once I get to that

point.

What I find confusing is I know many of you “old

timers” (and I use that phrase with the utmost respect) pretty much

started out immediately at 4.5 mg. Did any of you suffer for doing this as

such? I also have read where anything less than 1.75 mg. is

non-functional. I guess I hate to stay at the 1.5 mg for so long when I

could perhaps be reaping more benefits more quickly by jumping to the

3.0. Thoughts?

I am on day 5 with my 1.5 mg LDN and I am amazed how, right

now, every day is different. I woke up last night with numbness in my

left leg (one of my usual symptoms) and bladder frequency is back this morning

with a vengeance. I know that symptoms worsening before getting better is

common with MS and LDN . . . just wondering if it would be helpful or hurtful

to bump up to 3 mg early.

Thanks for any input you might want to share!
