Oh yea, I know about her site, I just thought when you mentioned the metatype

theory that you meant that you had heard of it in the past and wanted to know if

it was the same woman. I only heard of her when I was pregnant and I had called

the PHP company to inquire about increasing my dose and they recommended I talk

to her because they are just the distributors and she is a doctor that buys from

them. Who knows, I wasn't pleased with her attitude with me when I was asking

questions on the phone. I felt she was getting frustrated with my calls since

she was giving " free " info on the phone. I am in Florida and she's in NY so I

couldn't go see her and she wasn't seeing any money from me. Her receptionist,

however, is very pleasant. Have a good night. -jessica

Also......I have said many times and I will say it again. In my experiences,

it's not so much what you don't eat (meat) it's what you do eat. I have seen

plenty of vegans who are unhealthy due to their diet choices. I have a friend

who is vegetarian and always gets sick, and can never lose weght and is always

tired. She always eats bread, pasta and cheese. She doesn't need meat she just

needs a healthier balanced meal. Look at Dr. Null (www.garynull.com) that

man has been vegan forever, he's unbelievable. Anyway, I just thought your

" FYI " was a little strange.

I give the shots in my arm, and the improvements were very good. I added

Shaklee's B Complex (I have tried countless brands over the years) and the

improvement was tremendous. How do you get over getting the shots? Well...what

was my alternative? I certainly wasn't going to give up the improvements, so I

sucked it up and gave myself the shots.

Hi, All,

My remaining symptoms have been mild fatigue and some tinnitus. My

LLMD recommends that I do B12 injections twice weekly for about 6 months.

I am a complete coward with needles. I faint. This ain't gona be easy.

So, has anyone here done this? Did you notice big improvements? I

got one injection at the doc's office, and my thigh still hurts. But

I also have more energy, more enthusiasm, and less tinnitus. And I

slept through the night - a full 8 hours!

I guess I'll have to find a way to suck it up. :)

Hi ,

Yes, I've tried the B12 shots 3 months worth. It's actually very easy ... the

main thing is to relax and be quick. While sitting, extend your foot out a bit

and relax the thigh muscle .. if the muscle isn't relaxed it can hurt. Quickly

poke the needle in ... sometimes you won't even feel it. Go for the center

third of your thigh right in the middle. Your thigh should not hurt ..

especially after an hour or so.

It seemed to really help me the first time .. but it may have have just

coincided with a good cycle.

Best of luck!

Hi..I have been doing B12 injections for years. I

notice a HUGE difference if I don't do them for a

while. I use the tuberculin syringes (tiny needle) and

I give them to myself in my upper arm. It stings a

bit. but to me it's worth it! I used to give myself

bicillin injections in my thighs and that was really

rough. Any shot in the thigh muscle will leave you

Hi , I do B12 Methylcobalmin (that is important) as well as

Pyridoxine -B6 in my shots every other day, sometimes 2x/week. The B12

is a snap, but the B6 stings and has to go deep in a muscle.

I've gotten so many needles in my life (except a spinal tap!), that I

don't even notice them. Two years ago, someone left an abandoned kitten

under our porch, and when I tried to get her, she was scared and bit me.

So I had to go to the hospital for All the rabies shots and then back

every week for a month for more shots. That didn't phase me at all. Now

our wonderful GracieBelle is 2 and we have 3 abandoned cats and 3

abandoned dogs!

Good luck with the needles. There are two ways: Either test the needle

on your skin to see if there is a nerve ending there (you'll feel

something if there is), or find a place where you feel nothing, and you

won't feel the needle go in.

It is really no sweat. In fact, night sweats and Lyme muscle aches are

much worse than needles.

All the Best, Muriel

Thanks, Everyone!

I'll call the pharmacy on Tuesday and ask them to go ahead and

compound the stuff for me. It's going to come in pre-filled syringes,

My B12 shots helped with my fatigue for sure! I attribute improvement

in my tinnitus to the correct antibiotic at the correct dose. Changes

in my tinnitus seem to herald a herx or bacteria load. But, it may be

the B12....I will pay close attention to that. My headaches went away

with antibiotic eye drops. It took a couple of days at first but now

when I start to get a headache, I use my eyedrops and it stops.

Hi ,

I also did the B-12 injections for quite awhile. I got the pre-filled syringes

from a compounding pharmacy too. A nurse at my doc's office showed me how to

administer the shots myself. As Kim mentioned, the needles are incredibly fine,

nothing like the needles used to take blood work.

I was supposed to switch off areas, thighs, upper arms & sides. I will say

that inserting the needle in my upper arms and thighs was no biggie but it was

harder (more sensitive) to inject my sides so I just avoided that area.

Sometimes it pinches a little while injecting the serum.

Also, if you see a pink area close to the injection site, don't be alarmed, it

just means that some of the B-12 stayed close to the surface of the skin & it

will fade. Oh and don't forget to bend or break the needles when you dispose of

them.

Right now I am off of the B-12 injections to see how I do w/out them (all the

Rx's & supplements get costly so we try to see what things I can cut back if I

reintroduced something new), but I definitely think they help.

Good luck & don't be afraid to ask your neighbor for help if you need it!

Hi Ann,

Just curious, do you have amalgams? I feel the tinnitus is more

connected to mercury than Lyme, in my case. But the B12 seemed to

make a difference too. :)

hi, nancy,

there are different kinds of b12 injections, using different amounts and

requiring different injection sites.

for about past 2 years, i was using compounded methylB12 injections 2-4

times a week, only 0.15ml to 0.3ml. used a small insulin syringe and

injected subcutaneous in folds of skin near each hip area. pretty easy to

do.

4 years ago, i had a different b12, not compounded, that was 3.0ml--a lot of

fluid and required a big needle and needed to be injected into outer thigh

muscle--that was not fun. the subcu is much easier.

also, i recently changed from injections to sublingual and have found that

despite lots of comment about injections being much better, the sublingual

is just as effective for me--plus, it's otc, cheaper, and NO needles. so

consider that option too.

blessings on your journey,

kendra

I've taken B12 shots (plus B6-Pyridoxine) for several years and they

can't get to the anaerobic bacteria in your jawbone. Just save what

money you can (like me!) and have any amalgams/root canals/other

problems fixed when you can.

However, the B12 shots are highly beneficial. Must be Methylcobalmin.

All the Best, Muriel

Kendel

Re: [ ] B12

Yes, I do have amalgams but do not have the $$ to have them removed...

and I hate the dentist more than shots!!! ;)

Both my husband and I will be trying the B12 - hope it helps.

Thx,

Ann

Kendra,

Is there a brand of sublingual B12 that you can recommend?

Thanks!

Can you tell me where you get the sublingual B12 OTC, and also...does anyone

know if it can be just as beneficial to take a high potency B complex vitamin?

There re many web sources, such as

http://www.sublingual-b-12.org/buy-sublingual-b-12.html. Since Kendra

has used sublingual methyl-B12 with success, I thought I'd try to get

the brand she used. :)

A high potency B-complex vitamin supplement will probably be of

benefit, but if you have any issues absorbing or metabolizing B12, you

would need methylcobalamin as well, either sublingual or prescription

injectable.

==>Hi Maddy. No, that isn't too high. Above 1,300 is getting too high.

There are some out there saying the use of b12 methylates mercury and that it

is bad, Huggins I think. B12 is another supplement I use regularly. I cannot

seem to find anything that Mr Cutler has said about that. Does anyone know of

this. thanks... alan
