I use it for frying hash browns, and for making nice

little chocolate candies. Really, you can use it as you

would any oil, but you have to fry a little lower heat

for longer because it smokes a little more easily.

You can use it in cookie and cake recipes too.

Taking it " raw " likely has other health properties,

but using it as an oil replacement makes for easier-to-digest

and tasty food products, which will still increase

your metabolism.

Replace your cooking oil with it, and take up to three tablespoons.

I just thought I'd share what my new Endocrinologist told me. Since I get heart

palpitations, that Armour would not be good. In some people, it can give a

temporary euphoric feeling and crash. Just some interesting facts. He also

said don't read online for information b/c most is incorrect. Where else are we

supposed to go? The doctor every time we have a question??

for the inflamed colon) but a high TSH reading. The gp said it's hypothyroidism

Thank you and Zahavi. I'm waiting for approval from the iodine group and will join the ones you mention.I've been on ldn since 22 April for RA. Is it too simplistic of me to compare the damage done to my joints before I took ldn, with any possible damage done to the thyroid - i.e. though I don't feel I have RA any more, the joint damage has not gone away, though it is reducing bit by bit. If ldn isn't helping the thyroid perhaps the problem isn't autoimmune.Anyway I'll go to those sites.MargaretFrom: mike3kit

Yes it is possible that the immune system is attacking your thyroid. Look up Hashimoto's Thyroidism. LDN is also being used to treat this condition. Be careful, if what you are experiencing is from Hashimoto's and if they put you one thyroid medications this could change to hyperthyroidism because of too much thyroid meds in you body.Hashimoto's Throiditis (Dakini LDN Trial testimonial)http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=11 & t=6277Alternative Health Solutions for Thyroid Autoimmunity (AHSTA.com)http://www.ahsta.com/L--- In low dose naltrexone , Margaret
